On 23 January 2025, the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) organised a business roundtable in Mumbai. The event was held in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies Organisation (FICCI-FLO Mumbai Chapter). Headed by H.E. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, PhD, the UAE Ambassador to India, the roundtable brought together over 40 Indian women business owners and entrepreneurs from a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, education, finance, jewellery, and textiles.
The focus of the event was to highlight opportunities that exist for women entrepreneurs and business owners post the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between the UAE and India.
